Streacom has announced the release of a new version of the DA2 tower PC case, designed for mini-ITX and mini-DTX board sizes. According to the manufacturer, the DA2 Version 2 case has been improved compared to the original model in terms of cooling.
We are talking about the ventilation holes in the back and side panels, which allows you to increase air flow, and extended fan mounting options. In addition, there is an increased hole in the back wall for the expansion card, which can be a two-slot, and improved power cable routing, which improves compatibility with large CPU cooling systems.
The maximum height of the processor cooling system is 145 mm. In case of LPG installation the radiator can be up to 280 mm long. The case can accommodate up to three 3.5-inch drives or up to six 2.5-inch drives. The I/O panel is very modest and has only a power button and a USB Type-C connector.
Streacom also offers several add-ons including a Vertical Graphics Card Installation Kit, a glass side panel kit, and an I/O panel that supports USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2. The DA2 Version 2 enclosure is available in black and silver. It should be available in October/November. Prices are not yet quoted by the manufacturer.
