Corsair announced the release of its first docking station equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 interface. A novelty that allows you to add multiple ports to the system configuration with just one cable. This model is called TBT100.
According to the manufacturer, the docking station in the aluminum housing looks good in any working environment. Its dimensions are equal to 228 x 83 x 25 mm. The docking station configuration includes one Thunderbolt 3 port with 40 Gbps of bandwidth, designed to connect to a desktop or mobile PC. The laptop can receive power from the dock (up to 85 W). Two 5Gbps USB ports on the USB-A slots are capable of delivering up to 7.5 watts each, while two 10Gbps USB ports on the USB-C slots are designed for 15 watts each.
In addition, there are two HDMI 2.0 outputs with support for 4K resolution, 60Hz frequency and HDR, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a combined 3.5mm universal audio connector and an SD card reader slot with support for UHS-II. Finishes the picture lock Kensington.
Sales of that device has already begun. The minimum price is 300 euros.
