G.Skill presented sets of DDR4-4000 and DDR4-4400 memory modules with CL16 delay

DDR4 memory modules running at high effective frequency often do not provide the expected performance gains because they work with high latency. G.Skill, a company specializing in high-performance memory and gaming peripherals, introduced kits of DDR4-4000 and DDR4-4400 memory modules working with low latency (CL16-19-19-39).

The DDR4-4000 kits of two 16GB modules each and the DDR4-4400 kits of two 8GB modules each added to the Trident Z Royal, Trident Z RGB and Ripjaws V series. They use Samsung B-die memory chips that have passed manual testing.

According to the manufacturer, DDR4-4000 memory module kits are optimized for the latest Intel Core 10th generation processors and Intel Z490 system logic suite. They have been tested on Asus ROG Maximus XII Extreme, MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus and ASRock Z490 Aqua boards with Intel Core i9-10900K, i7-10700K and i5-10600K processors, which is confirmed by screenshots.
