Analysts expect that Samsung Electronics will soon report fairly high profits for the third quarter of the 2020 fiscal year. According to forecasts, the company’s revenue for the quarter will amount to about 54.5 billion dollars, which is 3.1 percent more than a year earlier.
The operating profit will reach $8.89 billion, which is 33.7% more than a year ago. In this case, it will be the best results of Samsung Electronics from the fourth quarter of 2018, that is, almost two years.
Analysts have raised their forecasts, coming to the conclusion that the semiconductor business Samsung Electronics is unlikely to face a large drop in sales, despite lower memory prices caused by excess inventory. One of the reasons for good sales is urgent orders from Huawei.
Also analysts believe that good performance will be in the mobile business Samsung, as sales of smartphones have increased, and marketing costs have decreased.
