FSP, which specializes in the production of power supplies, presented a series of computer power supplies FSP Hydro PTM PRO with certificates 80 Plus Platinum. The series included models ranging from 650W to 1200W, designed for mid- to upper-segment PCs and workstations, including systems with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series graphics cards. They meet ATX12V v2.4 and EPS12V v2.92 standards.
Description of the new PDs indicates durability and reliability. The units are built on a single +12V bus, which supports voltage with an accuracy of ±1% at any load. All electrolytic capacitors used in the units are manufactured in Japan and designed for long-term operation at temperatures up to 105 ºC. In addition, an independent circuit is mentioned that provides 5V at up to 3A current, ensuring that USB-connected devices are charged even when the computer is switched off.
A low noise fan with hydrodynamic bearing is used for cooling. With the switch located on the back of the case, you can select the mode in which the fan turns on only at a load greater than 30%. The power supply units provide protection against overcurrent and other abnormal modes.
Cable system of this power supplies fully modular. The set includes flat cables and interchangeable stickers, which allow you to bring the appearance of the PSU in harmony with the rest of the components in the system unit.
Sales have already started. The recommended price for a 650 W power supply unit is $165, 750 W is $190, 850 W is $215, 1000 W is $250, 1200 W is $270.
