The IT community has a tradition of porting the legendary Doom shooter to “everything that has screens”. It’s also come to such an unexpected gadget as the electronic pregnancy test.
An enthusiast named Foon Turning managed to “launch” Doom on the pregnancy test screen, told about it on his Twitter page and published several videos with the results.

The device is equipped with an 8-bit Holtek processor and 64 bytes of RAM. To get the result, he installed an OLED screen in the Equate “device” and also replaced the microcontroller.
As a result, the enthusiast managed to run the video Doom, although the quality leaves much to be desired – 128×32 pixels is not 4K at all. Also, the enthusiast showed the playback of a small video The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
Then Foon Turning managed not only to play the video, but actually play in Doom:
Yesterday I had a lot of retweets and reddit posts and such for playing Doom on a pregnancy test.
But as I explained then, it wasn't really PLAYING on a pregnancy test, it was just a video being played back, not an interactive game.
Well, now it is. It's Pregnancy Test Doom! pic.twitter.com/Nrjyq07EVv
