The difference between processors of new Xbox consoles is minimal, which is not same at graphics

Judging by the data received from Microsoft, both consoles received eight-core AMD processors on Zen 2 architecture, and the difference in frequency is minimal – by 200 MHz in favor of the older version.

But the GPU differ very much: the older model uses a GPU with 52 executive blocks and a frequency of 1.825 GHz, in the younger – the GPU with only 20 executive blocks and a frequency of 1.565 GHz. Not surprisingly, the Xbox Series X graphics performance is 12.15 TFLOPS and the Xbox Series S is three times less.

There is also a difference in the amount of RAM and built-in solid-state drive (with the same speed parameters of the SSD), in the younger model there is no optical Blu-ray drive.
