Microsoft has already started accepting pre-orders for next-gen Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. There are reports from various markets that consoles are being preordered like “hotcakes”. All startup batches were sold out in a matter of minutes. There will be several more pre-order stages before consoles go on sale, but analysts expect that all consoles will sell out as quickly as they did during the first stage.
Australia and New Zealand were the first two countries to open pre-orders. After opening the order page at 8 a.m. local time due to huge traffic, the site went out of order. Within a few minutes, all the consoles prepared for ordering were sold out.
A similar situation occurred in India. Locals reported that on the pre-order page Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S immediately after its activation, there was information that the consoles are no longer available.
In the UK market, the situation is slightly better. According to feedback from network users, Xbox Series X pre-orders have run out almost everywhere, but it’s still possible to pre-order the Xbox Series S for now.
Both Xbox Series X consoles and Xbox Series S will enter the market simultaneously. Direct sales of these consoles will start on November 10.
