Canon recently introduced a telescopic camera with a protected case – Powershot Zoom. The device was offered to users through a collaborative platform and immediately became successful, the necessary amount was collected in 13 hours.
Canon’s miniature telescopic Powershot Zoom is lighter than the average phone and weighs 145 g. Thanks to its body shape, it is comfortable to hold in one hand. The user looks through the electronic viewfinder. At the top and bottom of the camera, there are physical buttons to adjust focus and start shooting.
The device supports real time focus adjustment and photo shooting while recording video. It supports two optical focal lengths equivalent to 100 mm and 400 mm, and a digital focal length equivalent to 800 mm.
The camera is equipped with a 12.1 megapixel 1/3-inch optical image sensor. In terms of shooting performance, Powershot Zoom supports continuous shooting at 10 frames per second and recording video at up to 1080p at 30 fps, as well as face recognition.
The camera also has a waterproof, dustproof and fall-proof design, which makes it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts. The price of the device is about 300 dollars.
