According to the source, Sigma is going to release a full frame 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art lens for mirrorless cameras. It will be offered in two versions – with Sony E and Leica L Mounts Images and the main features of the novelty has already appeared on the Web.
The lens, which has an optical circuit of 17 elements in 12 groups, will be able to focus at a distance from 29.5 cm. The minimum distance corresponds to a maximum magnification of 1:1. Focusing can be done manually and automatically. It will be possible to limit the range of focusing distances for acceleration.
The lens aperture is formed by nine petals. Using the switch, the user can choose the mode of operation of the aperture ring – with or without clicks. Filters with a diameter of 62 mm can be used together with the lens. The maximum diameter of the lens itself is 74 mm. The length of the variant with the Leica L mount is 133,6 mm, weight is 710 g. In the case of the Sony E mount version, the length is 135.6 mm and the weight is 715 g.
