Bridgestone Precept J33R Driver

This is simply a wonderful driver. Sorry to bring up an old thread, but just wondering if anyone knows of a driver that sounds and feels like this driver. I love the feel of this driver. In the end, it’s a very workable driver, with great looks, simple clean crown.

Several folks said it was like a cc TP I’ve been shopping for another myself. After a couple of years of not having the Br idgestone, I decided to get another one. Hit the ball higher on the face for a higher flight, lower for more penetrating flight. Please log in to reply.


Other than that it’s a great driver NV65 shaft launches ball with mid trajectory and long distance. That may have something to do with the shaft as mine is an 8. Snake Eyes Viper Tour Sv1, And yet again it is the best driver that I have ever hit. Sold the TM right there on the range and kept the Bridgstone and I have not looked back. The J33R has a very deep large face – at first glance, it appears almost as large as any modern cc driver.

This clubhead simply feels and sounds marvelous! It is one of the best clubs i have ever bought. Instead of just buying another one, I bought a R5 TP.

It’s muted, but gives a nice-sounding “throaoack” sound, with a supremely nice feeling of acceleration.

Bridgestone J33R or ? While Bridgestone Corporation has its roots as a tire company, its experience and expertise in rubber has spread to a variety of industries, including sports. I’d previously briegestone using a Cleveland Hi-Bore driver which had a very loud sound at impact.

I love how solid they feel and the muted thwack sound off the face.
